Every month we will have a night time storytime featuring a special theme for families. Following the storytime program we have special crafts, snacks, and activities in the library.

All Ages Poetry Contest
April 1 - 30
Create a poem around the themes of Seeds, Growing and/or Nourishment. Poems will be judged by a panel of poets from the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets in three categories: Youth (12 & under), Teen (13-20), & Adult (21 & up). Winners will be announced at a May 27 Poetry Reading and Reception (save the date)!
Ballet Storytime with Madison Ballet

Join us for a joyful, interactive program that brings the beloved book Giraffes Can’t Dance to life through movement and imagination. Children and families will enjoy a storytime followed by a playful ballet lesson where young movers learn simple ballet steps.
PJ Storytime: Music Storytime
Thursday, April 16 @ 6:30 p.m.
Music is in the air this April for our PJ Storytime. We will be sharing musical stories, rhymes, and playing instruments at this all ages program. Crafts will include creating our own musical instruments.
Crafternoon: Labubu Painting Party
Friday, April 17 @ 2:00 p.m.
We are turning the popular collectible Labubu figures in to art for our April Crafternoon. We provide all the materials for you to create your monster-piece. Supplies are limited so registration is required.

It's the pre-school event of the year - prom night at the library!
Join us for an hour of dancing, games, snacks, and more. Great for ages 4 and under.

Celebrate Star Wars Day at the library! We are hosting an afternoon crafting program that will have projects for all ages. No registration required.
Utka Ensemble Storybook Music Project

Join the Utka Ensemble for a free musical storytime at the library! A great way to introduce children to the power (and fun!) of classical music, the Utka musicians will present diverse children's picture books alongside carefully curated music. From beloved classics like Peter Rabbit to newer favorites, it’s an experience for the whole family to enjoy.
