Technology Workshops: Mobile Device Basics

Friday, January 5 is Mobile Device Basics for Android.  Saturday, January 6 is Mobile Device Basics for iOS.  Both workshops are 2-3:30 PM.  Registration is required at mcfarlandlibrary.org.  Everyone present will take home new library swag and a chance to win some great door prizes.

Have you received a new Android or Apple device lately?  Have you recently switched from one to the other, and are looking for some guidance as to navigating your new system?  Then these FREE workshops are for you!

We'll discuss: Navigating your device, common apps, helpful accessibility & privacy settings, and tips & tricks for safety and security with your device

On Friday, we will delve into Mobile Device Basics for Android.  Feel free to bring your Android device with for in-workshop practice!

On Saturday, we will focus on Mobile Device Basics for iOS.  Again, bring your Apple device with for in-workshop practice!

Everyone who attends will leave with new library swag and be entered to win some awesome prizes, ranging from gift cards to each workshop's grand prize: Friday's grand prize is a SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S9 FE + case; Saturday's grand prize is an Apple iPad mini (6th generation) + case! *MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN*
