The E.D. Locke Public library is proud to host a Farm-to-Table event on Thursday, September 21, 2023, as the opening event of the McFarland Community Festival.

Kyle Julius of Chef at Large Catering will prepare a mouth-watering meal using delicious local ingredients.

The evening begins with a 5:00 PM social hour. Mingle with friends and neighbors over drinks and snacks. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM. The keynote speaker of the evening is Kalvin Barrett, Dane County Sheriff.

Tickets are $100 per person and include beer, wine and mocktails, appetizers, dinner, dessert, and entertainment. This event is for 18+ and ID's will be checked. Absolutely no carry-ins. 

Tickets may be purchased at the library with cash, check, or credit card. If paying by credit card, you can order via phone by calling 608-838-9030 and pick up the tickets at your convenience.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the McFarland Library, who support literacy and education that awakens curiosity and explores connections for all ages.

50/50 Raffle

Purchase raffle tickets at E.D. Locke Public Library or at the Farm to Table Dinner for $5 each or $20 for 5.  You can pay with cash, check, or credit card.  The winner receives 50% of the total amount raised, and the other 50% goes to the Friends of the McFarland Library.

Wine Pull

How lucky are you?  Pay $20 (cash, check, or credit card) and you get to pull out a cork that's been randomly assigned a number.  The number corresponds with a specific bottle of wine, which is yours to take home.  A wide variety of styles and qualities have been generously donated by community members and local businesses. Which one will you get???

The dinner will take place in the McFarland Community Festival main tent (Spartan Pizza parking lot).
