The McFarland Bird Festival will take place Saturday, May 11 from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Lewis Park Shelter. This event is free and open to the public

McFarland Bird Festival Raffle

Raffle tickets are available starting April 10!  Purchase with cash or check (made out to "Friends of McFarland Parks") at the library's front desk and the day of the festival.  

Win great prizes while supporting birding in McFarland! Prizes include birdhouses, photo prints, and more! You do not need to be present to win.

Birding Hot Spots in McFarland

Shawn Miller will present "Birding Hot Spots in McFarland" on Thursday, May 2, from 6:30-7:30 PM. It will be live streamed and recorded for those who cannot attend in person. 2024 Great Wisconsin Bird-a-thon

McFarland birders Shawn Miller and Alex Arnold are participating in the 2024 Great Wisconsin Bird-a-thon on Saturday May 4th.  They are raising funds for a PURPLE MARTIN HOUSE and interpretive signage for McFarland's Lewis Park/Marsh Woods Park areas.  If you are interested in supporting them, please click here:  McFarland Bird Festival's 2024 Birdathon.

Guided Bird Walks

Join Shawn Miller and Heidi Cox on a Guided Bird Walk! The walks will take place on Monday, May 6 and Friday, May 10, from 7-9 AM at Indian Mound Conservancy. Registration is required and will be available on April 22.
