A Ravenous Feast: Recipes Inspired by the Literary Works of Edgar Allan Poe

Wisconsin author Veronica Hinke is back with a slightly darker, more macabre literary cookbook.  Veronica will take us through her cookbook A Ravenous Feast: Spellbinding Recipes Inspired by the Literary Works of Edgar Alan Poe.  We will learn about Edgar Allan Poe and the distinct Antebellum period in American literature.  Explore the surprising lighter, brighter side of Poe's work, including nature and love poems like “Forest Reverie,” “Island of The Fay,” and more.  

Enjoy an elegantly ghoulish culinary journey to complement the literary world of Poe.  Refreshments will include a Forest Reverie Butter Board, Cheese Assortment, Shadow Cake, and Assorted Teas and Condiments.
