To the right, text reads "September Activity: Storm Drain Removal Challenge" on top of a picture of a young boy seemingly trying to remove something from a fake storm drain made from a recycling bin with a cardboard cutout on top.

Join us once a month for a new project where teens can try new things and problem solve with friends.

September Activity: Storm Drain Retrieval Challenge

Picture this: You're on your way to an important event, and all of a sudden one of your important belongings falls out of your hand and directly into a storm drain below you. You have limited time, limited resources, but you need to get this item before you can get where you need to go. You have what's in a trash can near you to try to get the item out of the storm drain; can you do it? Compete with other teens to see who can make the best retrieval tool and get items out of a (fake) storm drain!
